Have an odd issue on my 05, I just noticed that when I apply the brake my parking lights come on with the break lights? Checked all the fuses and ran down the wiring under the hood with no luck. Something I'm missing? I didn't have this problem when I first picked it up and I haven't re-wired anything so I'm a bit stumped at what would cause this. I'll have to check the dash wiring but wanted any suggestions on where I should be focusing my search.

First I would say check dash wiring, there could be where the suspect wiring problem is - sounds like an LCM issue though...

Thanks, I hope it's something silly like a wire left over from the wig wags or strobe removal. LCM issues suck But it didn't do it this afternoon so it might be????

I used to own a '94 full-size Chevy Blazer that was doing something similar; step on the brake pedal, and the brake lights, front parking lamps, AND the instrument cluster would all light up at once! In that case it turned out that the wiring from the trailer tow harness had worn against the body and was grounding out.

Chances are it's a wiring issue...I hope it's not the LCM getting stupid.

Mine dose the Same thing even my headlights go out I need to find someone who can fix my LCM
