I bought another panther, a 94 town car with 373,000 miles . Anyways my problem currently is I think the bcm is fried. The power locks don't work , if I go one way it does nothing the other way I hear a click coming from the bcm box. The interior lights never come on ever, I haven't changed a bulb but I don't think every single bulb is dead. Any clues to what's wrong? I'm thinking the bcm is fried possibly or is there any relays involved with this stuff that could be bad? Thanks.

I don't have a diagram of the locks for your car uploaded yet but here is one for the courtesy lamps;



I'd check all fuses first, but the RKE module may be faulty.



Use a voltmeter across the two wires/pins to one of the door lock solenoids/actuators and see if you have voltage when button is depressed, and that the voltage is reversing polarity when switch is pressed other way.

If nothing at a solenoid, do the same test but at the RKEM for the lock switch input and all locks output. (I'll get a pinout and lock diagram for you tomorrow evening to do this)
