Yes

*It would just require the right rim backspacing / offset -and- tire size ( read low aspect ratio ). Remember ... The usual wheel ( rim + tire ) diameter is ~27".

Silly people, big rims are for airplanes.

This is america, it is your car, you can
do what you want with it.

Sure it can fit... theoretically you could get a 26.59" rim with a .01" thick strap of rubber around it..... the only question of importance is.... can 22s fit AND keep the vehicle/wheels safe? NO. At that size every little bump will damage your rims. If you never drive more than 1 mile from home and the ground is perfectly level and you NEVER have anything on the road, not even a grain of sand, then you will be fine.

Yes they can. There is a dude on here (can't remember his screen name) with a nice 03 Gray Grand Marquis on 22's. I think he is running a 265/35/22 tire.

I lifted mine in order to make room for the bigger tires 305/40/22 (truck tires), and the ride is better than my man's Vic who is running 265/35/22, even with the lift. no bullshyt.

22's will fit with a 35 series tire but i didnt like the ride much on my 96 so i swap my 22's for 20's with 40 series tires i could not beleive the difference there was you might be alright cause i know those here vic's have a better suspension set up than my year does

you CAN put 22s on a crown victoria if you like minimal contact patch, increased rotating mass causing poor acceleration and poor braking, increased unsprung weight causing poor ride quality and handling. i think they are ugly but it is up to you, by the way, i am rollin' 20s on the grain trucks dawg

Reminds me of a project I've always wanted to build - a one ton mid 70's International pickup with these:

But with a lot of rake, like way bigger in back, like my old chevy was...
