rear defroster not working

my rear defroster isn't working at all, the button lights up and the heated mirrors work, also the fuse in the box under the hood seems to be good. any ideas?

check the connectors on the window

they looked connected but i took a close look and one is broke off the window, would you solder that back on? or could that mess it up?

I've bought this and used it before last winter on my father's '06 GM and it worked like a charm and is friggin' amazing. It's not cheap, but it's the only one that I've ever seen work and hold up over time. The cheap kits in auto parts stores just don't work.

can you buy it in stores or do you have to order it?

bought it online, I've never seen it locally.

i took a closer look and it looks like not only the tab is ripped off but part of the red defroster stuff came off too, i got some pics here, can i still fix it?

The kit I posted should work, but it's very important to follow the instructions to a "T"...the only thing I did different was to wait 24 hours before plugging it back in.
