i bought that model at walmart. it was on clearance because something was broken. i forget what. i took off the lift kit and painted the three ugly colors of my car. i'll have to find some pictures.

yeah - i seriously am not fond of the ghetto look either- lol but i saw it at KBtoys, and i was like "omg! a cv!".... i bought it cuz the crown is real hard to find as die cast modles.
i just had to add it to my collection. i also tried to take it off the lift it has- but that was hell cuz i didnt know how to take the wheels off and try to put them on the axles. so i kept it looking all g-fab,lol

if u bought it in walmart, how much was it on sale during clearance? i got it for 25 bucks.... if u say for less i wanna kick myself!!! and im sure u got it for way less!

i was thinking about probably buying some wheels for it and paint- but do any of u guys know where i can get those kinda things? i never tried re-modeling any of my diecast, and i wouldnt wanna go crazy running from store to store to find the parts.

I bought the only one at Walmart for 7.50 on super clearance, it is candy apple red. I took the bottom off and used an extra PI base and interior to make it look like an unmarked CVPI. I also cleaned up the crap that Motormax put on the rear quarter panel. It was something like "ridin high" or some other getto verbage.

I don't know if anyone has posted this already but if your looking for stock Crown Vic PI cars reasonable in 18th, 25th and 43rd scale go to http://www.everstoystore.com/. You'll have to plug the holes in the roof and add some of your own details but they are not expensive and come in their own display case (25th & 43rd only). I have a side business of making the cars for police departments and thats who I use for all my car requests. Hope this helps, but if you want someone else to make it I do take requests. Illinois and Texas are my specialty.

Not too fond of the model Vic, but pjsbird - that is one fine looking '04 you got. Those wheels look really good!
