'03 LX Sport with 34,000. This morning with no prior warning, front passenger window switch and master switch both did not work. Window is in the up position and there is no sound of any kind when I engage either switch. I had no prior warning of any kind. All other windows and mirror work just fine. Please tell me it is not another module. How much does the DDM cost? I just did the LCM and do not need another part that I cannot program. Thanks, Randy.

Watched the volt meter and it does dip each time either switch is engaged.

It could be as simple as bad switches themselves. The only issue I ever had with my '04 CVLX is that the master driver's window switch LED illumination burned out and the dealer replaced the whole panel under warranty.

Good luck.

Both going bad at the same time? Is one a master and one a secondary? Randy

I would try to clean them first.

03+ window switch panels are prone to dirty contacts.
Click and read through this whole thread to see how to clean them:

My 03 Sport with 125K miles did the same thing last month...must be a function of time rather than miles on those modules.

Anyway, it will be the switch in the module. All those buttons are in one module. The dealer will sell you a new one for $84. As for myself, I dowsed the assembly with electronics cleaner which helped....still gotta find the right "spot" on the botton to make the window go down. Passenger side button works like a champ.

The little light on the drivers side button went out a long time ago. However, with my cleaning, it is back on!!!

I had my rt front window not work from both switches on a very hot day. My bet is on the rt front motor.

Slam the front passenger door closed a couple of times. It worked for about 20 - 30 of our '03 CVPIs. It might be a temporary fix, but it usually works. Only our '03s had the problem with the windows.

Now the driver's door will not work. Sounds like the switch block in the driver's door. Dealer wants $50 in-stock and I cannot find the part number: 2L1T-14540-AFW anywhere on the net. Anyone have it cheaper? Thanks,Randy.

at $50, you are getting a bargain. My dealer wanted $84!

Put the switch in and still NOGO. Power is being drawn but NOGO on the windows. With no prior warning, could it be both motors? Could it be door modules?

Thanks,
Randy

Come on Ford. Now the Driver's door works just fine. Sticking motors? Passenger door still NOGO and I wonder if the door slaming fix is the answer. Probably will swap out the motors. Hate to have the windows down in a Florida thunderstorm. Thanks All.

Left window started working again and after disassmebling the right side, with new parts ready to go in, now the right door is working OK. Looks like the opening and slaming the doors solution is the way to go. I wish I kept the '96PI.

Thanks all.
