  • Mecury Marauder airbox and MAF with accompanying ( and necessary ) tune.
  • 2004 P71 zip ( a.k.a. intake ) tube ( straighter air path and eases the connection to the MM 80MM MAF ).
  • Underdrive pulleys ( minor HP gain, however, allows the engine to spool-up quicker ).
  • 70MM throttle body ( minimal > no HP gain, however, faster throttle response )

*All available from Angry Duck * Tofu Racing <<<<< -click-

BTW ... search ... been covered skatey-bazillion times.

Depends on your budget:

Best bang for the buck is to go straight for the AED 6psi supercharger kit. http://www.adtr.net

If you can afford more, you could go for a built bottom end and the 9psi kit.

If less, then gDMJoe's advice is sound.

One piece of advice I would give you is either get rid of the K&N replacement air filter, or clean your MAF with electric contact cleaner every 3,000 miles. We have seen quite a lot of members over the years who have had problems with the oil from the filter getting misted onto the MAF wires and giving problems with the fueling. Some K&N believers will tell you it is not so or the owner put too much oil on the filter but I have seen it too often to be able to recommend the K&N for these cars.

FYI, my 03 P71 has a Marauder airbox but with a stock MAF (so no tune needed). This requires making up an adaptor to get the stock MAF onto the Marauder airbox but it can be done. My car runs great. I also have a transmission valve body kit from Darrin at bc-automotive which woke up the tranny & shifting a lot.

You need to think carefully of what you want and how much you want to spend. Before you do anything, make sure that the car is running well.

You need to make your signature pic much smaller and add the details of your car so that we can always know what you have.

I second the Marauder airbox/MAF and a tune with a PI ziptube. That will bring you up about 250HP

Next I would suggest one step in cams. Comp Cams XE262AH are pretty much the next step over PI cams.

Also a 70mm TB and ported intake plenum from Chris at ADTR.net will help get the most out of the Marauder airbox/MAF and PI ziptube.

Also how many miles are on your motor?

Take the pic into MS Paint and hold contorl key and press W to bring up the resizing. Chop it down to about 50 maybe 60% of that.

The money spent in cams are not worth the return on investment, $800 (parts not including labor) for additional 18 hp? After the MZT (MM air box & mass air flow sensor, O4 CVPI zip tube and tune) you next step is a AED supercharger.
