Can someone please tell me where the wiper control module is please? (Grand Marquis 2003)
I can see the lighting module up behind the dash , but not the W.C.M. . The view is very restricted , and I cant get a hand in there to search for it.do I need to dismantle anything to get to it ?
Thanks.

On -02s, it's further towards the front seats from the LCM, closer to the ashtray.

But on a 2003+, there is no WCM - all of the wiper functions were moved into the motor assembly, with the wiring going right from the MFS to the motor units.

Thanks.
Its an early 2003 model. ( july 2002 manufactured)
So if the wipers only go when at max speed and wont park, And the screen wash wont go at all either, Could it be the motor internal electronics at fault . I have already replaced the stalk M.F.S.
Thanks again - this has been very helpfull.

Yup, even the washer fluid switched +12v feed goes from the MFS, to the wiper motor assembly, then to the pump. So it's very possible your issue is with that.

There was some problems with early build 2003s, like yours, having wire harness chaffing issues around the wiper cowl. Inspect the wiring in this area as well.

Can the wiring be repaired by taping up the chaffed areas or do I need to purchase a new wiring harness?
