Remove wheel.
Remove caliper.
Remove brake disk.
Remove dust cap.
Remove nut. 34mm socket I think.
Slide hub assembly out.

Slide new hub in.
Preferably install new nut to 250 ft.lbs torque.
install dust cap.
Clean contact surface on rotor with wire brush and reinstall.
reinstall caliper and wheel.

On '03 and up to remove the front hub and bearing assembly after removing the caliper w/bracket/brake rotor/disconnect the abs sensor/ you unbolt the four bolts from behind the knuckle to remove the assembly. Torque the bolts to 74 lb-ft on the new assembly.
(If after removing the four bolts, and it still won't come out spray some PB Blaster or penetrating oil and use the trusty BFH)
If you want a copy of the procedure from the Ford manual PM me your email. I can't attach it to a post here.

Sorry for the bum steer. I didn't know that they went to a different hub in 2003.

Look at the new one, is it a friction fit? It sorta looks like it would be, so liberal amounts of PB Blaster or other penetrating oil might be needed.

looking at

it looks like it possibly is a machined fit.

Let it soak overnight with PB Blaster as stated in mine and the above post. It couldn't hurt to heat the knuckle, but be careful anything you sprayed on the hub will burn. It might be easier to remove the outer tie-rod from the knuckle so you can move the knuckle more freely and swing away with a B.F.H. (Big F'in Hammer)

Maybe also try a prybar. Look at where the rust made the connection in my picture. I don't remember any real friction fit when I replaced mine. Just the four bolts holding it on.

You can also buy some longer bolts of the same size that hold the hub on and hit them with the BFH to help get it out.

Well folks, I'm doing one of these on my '03 CVPI, been soaking the thing all day long and it still won't come out....all the bolts are out, never seen a part seized in like this, is the hub a tight fit into the knuckle?

Big hammer and hit what it goes through. Penetrating oil would be useful in large quantites

Is the hub a very tight fit into the knuckle?...If I bang on it unevenly can it get jammed in?
