Hello all,
I have '99 CVLX that starts hard in the cold and won't idle properly unless I keep giving it gas, it also runs a little messy after warm-up. The check engine light is on and returns codes PO173 & PO174 at autozone. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

disconnect the MAF sensor. If nothing changes, clean and/or replace the MAF sensor.

PO173 code: fuel trim bank 2, O2 (oxygen sensor) control limit

PO174 code: system too lean, bank 2

Had it checked again today at checkers...gave me a code po171 & po174 this time...I'm cleaning the MAF today...

Also, if you haven't done them, replace the plugs and fuel filter.

may need to get ur fuel tank cleaned... heres the bulliten from ford.. although it does show diffrent codes your having the same problem...
