The real test would be to take your cars to a different track and run the same times. I bet that track you went to runs a little faster then the norm.....or at the very least that day the track was hookin' reallllllllyyyy good! ;\)

My car has run 14.9 at two different tracks.

Wow 16.2 while most stock p71 vic will run low 15's something is wrong here

how did you base your test?

Stock CVPIs run mid 15's to low 16's....mid 15's are those with 3.55s or a '04 with 80mm MAF.
Whoever said they run low 15's? That has to be pretty rare and would depend on the track, car, conditions, driver, and well everything.

My 04 p71 stock with 3.27 ran 15.2
My friends 03 p71 with 3.27 ran 15.3
My friends 99 p71 with 3.55 ran 15.6 with a non PI engine.

looks like we are better driver with better car with better condition ;\)

Your buddy with the 99 must have had a few mods because i ran 15.6-15.7 with a few mods done to my car with the old npi motor when i first started moding and racing and that was like 3 times at the track also, uds, rear cat delete, CAI, 04 Zip tube, Diablo tune, 75mm tb.

I went twice at the same track but not the same year.
Last summer after mod i won twice against a marauder so my numbers are not that far off
My friend with his 03 p71 still ran 15.3 on two different track though.
The one with the 99 was bone stock but the tranny shifted like hell though.
we went there in august and it was quite cold outside so it has played on the ET

I'll be going to the stap tour and at the track on friday night so i'll see what my numbers worth

I think the question is. Was your friend's 03 stock. Because we were talking about bone stock times running low 16's high 15's. I've only seen modified panthers run low 15's with the exception of the 04+ which have the 80mm Maf and tune for extra hp [250/289]

My buddy has an 01. He ran a 15.6 with just a port and polished plenum and a j-mod. I can't see how a stock 03 ran a 15.3. What's the altitude at that track? Did he do any weight reduction? Something is not right. Tell him never to go to another track because then he wont be able to brag about having the fastest stock 03 Vic ever made any more.

I have two different friends having both stock 03 p71 and they both ran 15.3 at two different track.
Both cars were almost empty with trunk empty.
I have no idea of the altitude but it was damn cold outside.

By the way Mets30 my friend could not care less abouth the times that he did at the track neither having the so called fastest vic ever made He is not even a member here on the forum.

That been said the only thing that i can say abouth that is that the only reference that i have is the race that i did against the marauder they do run low 15,s and i was still .1 sec faster that him on street tires.

I will never go back to that track since it's located at abouth 1:30 drive from my home and they will open a brand new 1/4 track on the runways of the mirabel airport located at 10 mins from home.

The good thing is that i will be able to bring back slip times each and every time i do mod on the car on a weekly basis.

By the way for thoses who need it i can take pics of the actual slip times that i did against the marauder and my friends 03

Raced a 98+ prelude this last weekend.
Fart can under the bumper so lets just call it stock.

Beat him twice from a dig. Third time was from a roll, I just told him to nail it and I'll try and catch up. Didn't take me long to pass him. Supposedly those are mid 15 second cars I think.
