my spotlights bulb toasted out on recently and i was just wondering what everyone else uses as a replacement... preferably a cheap replacement.

The older ones had a sealed beam lamp so the entire thing had to be replaced..

All the newer ones have a replacable H3 bulb, which you can get at any store for less than 10$

im pretty sure its the old style sealed beam. is there a wattage restriction? or can i chuck in a 100 or 120(they even make them?)

I get it directly from Unity or a Unity supplier.

update on this thread. instead of buying a new sealed beam ( which no one in town seemed to have a PAR 48 6' bulb) i picked up this kit on EBAY http://www.havis.com/products/SPTLT_PAR_46_KIT_100W-19863-0.html for about 15$ to my door. it basicly converts the light from the old style sealed beam to the new style where all i have to replace is a bulb that fits into a housing ( like the headligths). it was also cheaper than buying the OE style sealed beam.

kit works great too. very tight focused beam that goes farther than youl ever need it to in the city. cant wait to actually use next time i head out into rural country
