I'm considering painting my vic satin black or flat black due to my obsession with stealth aircraft. Does anyone have pics of any satin black or flat black vics, not black primer I mean real nice paint.

I've found several pics of other cars satin or flat black but I want to see a vic.

That's the first nicely done paint job i've seen. He needs to get tinted corners and paint the headlights and night shade tails. Painting it flat black definitely makes certain parts of the car stick out.

I'm sorry but just looking at that feels like I'm running my nails down a chalk board.

But to each his own.

Yeah I agree with that one. That vic does look like the finish might be rough to the touch I've got some pics of a few Ferrari's, Mercedes, Lamborghini's and a couple ricers that have a much nicer satin black paint on them and looks smooth to the touch too. My boss has a 29' Model A drag car and its black with flat clear but it has too much shine still for what i'm wanting. I'll try and post the pics so everyone can see what i'm maybe going to accomplish if I can settle on it.

The only reason that flat black works on some of those other cars is because they have interesting body lines everywhere. Crown Vics have a smooth body with few lines.

Now, that one ain't too bad. Those red lights go with the black really well, too.

that would be JonW and his old 94. great job, and it was painted with the old style dodge flat paint, like the older mopar musclecars were.

the original whale in this thread just needs an OCP logo on the door.

i would.
