Well, yesterday I was in town, driving around with my parking lights on, and I got behind a pick up truck. I then realized, my front parking lights, were not actually on. I did not see them in the reflection of his rear bumper. I was in a hurry and didn't think about it much. I ran into Advance Auto, ordered my balljoints, and got back in, turned the car and parking lights back on, and they came on. I saw the reflection in the doors. All was well, when I got home, I did a run through all the bulbs to make sure everything was working right.

Last night, I was leaving dinner with some friends, at 11:30pm, and they got beside me and flagged me down, saying "You have no tail lights!!" So we drove up a couple more lights and pulled over, and they were back on by the time we pulled over. They told me I had brake lights, but i didn't have running lights in the rear. So since they had magically turned back on, I drove home without problems.

Question. Back in spring, I had my LCM Headlight Relay replaced, with a stock one by FordDiesel69.

Does this mean my Parking Light Relay, is dying now? I haven't had any headlight failures since....until now, my running lights are giving up on me. What do you all think?

I had it happen once(drove somewhere after dark and everything was fine, started the car to leave where I was and the headlights didn't work) my parking lights worked but headlights didn't, turned the car off and back on, fine since then.
That's the only reason I checked here.
I'm gonna replace the LCM soon so hopefully it won't happen again.

Well my headlamps themselves, work fine. Its just the driving lights (ambers and tails) stopped working.

It does sound like your parking/running lamp relay is faulty.

Do the running lamps work for a short period and then turn off, or not at all now?

They work for a short time, then shut off.....then sometimes come back on. Which relay in the LCM board, is for the running lamps?

I don't know which is for the markers but when my lcm gave up it was basically a short in the box itself. When my lights would go out I could jiggle the wire harness going in and the lights would come back on. That was the only way I figured my problem out. I hope it helped

Hopefully dRock will get back to me. I think I'll send him a PM.
