I thought I needed one.... Then I helped a member learn how to do his after taking mine apart.

I'm cracking the book for the A6.

lol thanks for the reply, my torque bar only goes to 150ft pounds, i just gave it a couple nudges over a little.. good idea or no?

No it needs to be exact. I replaced one a few months ago and it wasnt exact. the bearing lasted for a few months and then started clicking again. Although Im still driving on it I have a new one to replace it as soon as it gets above freezing.

Better to rent a torque wrench than to do it all over again.
