Well once I get some more funds I may be interested in that oval TB and I would use the dragon 100mm plenum, this may take some time though \:D

nice work russ

use some russell lines... they will look real nice and we never have had issues making tons of fuel lines with them

that intake works just fine....

still better low end torque than stock and avery very usable torque and power range....

love it

i say it will really shine with new heads and some headers

Thanks Joe!

I would like to get some Russell fuel components but I'm low on money now so I'm just goin to make stock stuff work for now. I'm very excited to see how this intake performs and I have ported intake side heads and BBK headers so we'll see how it goes \:\)

In all rality LT's and TF heads would be the best but thats major $$$$

I wonder how this would fair on a engine with just bolt on and MZT, no cams or headers \:D That tq increase alone is worth it.

Physics dictates that it will loose plenum volume without the cams, and exhaust mods needed to realize that nice 50 HP gain. You can still see a torque dip on the dyno due to the shorter runner setup. With Quickvics setup however this is small beans and the lack of the nose over seen with the tuned runner PI intake is a big win.

I dont under stand this very clearly. Would realy like to know how smaller cams would reduce a plenum volume. The plenum volume is a fixed volume. Unless one was to fill it in or grind it out.

Reads funny to me now too.

The change in plenum volume is due to swapping in the Edelbrock intake. My point was that bolting up the Edelbrock intake to a stock engine would not see the gains that Quickvic does. This would be due to the lack of breathing provided by the Cams, head work, and exhaust mods.

Well finally got it installed! Seems to pull quite a bit harder and revs through the gears faster. I notice little to no power and tq loss down low, all in all it needs a tune but pulls quite a bit harder, I'm very happy with the results. Tryin for a dyno next fri-sat i'll keep ya guys posted on the numbers.

PICS!

Did the rear cooling mod while I was at it \:\)

Looks awesome... Is there any port matching, or did it not need any?
