The easiest way to tell if you car has the Police Interceptor Package is look in the VIN.

Notice yours has the P74 code, 2FAFP74V97X145754.
So yours is not a P71 or Police Interceptor model Crown Vic.

Your car should be a 2007 Crown Victoria LX/Sport.

They even use those for undercover along with a Marauder. I looked and testdrove a red '02 LX Sport that use to be a detective's car.

Thanks for the info. P71 or P74 doesnt matter to me, its a very nice car & their are tons of ways to trick them out.

Agreed!!
However, the the p74 has some features that the p71 does not.

As long as you're not looking for a police car pedigree, your car will be fine. I've seen more than a few P73/P74 cars being marketed as former police cars that never saw any service in that line of work. They are sold that way to fool buyers into thinking they may have been modified for better performance.

There were some Marauders used by police as part of some special projects. The Florida Highway Patrol received several as a donation from some rich guy... or so the story went. They are all out of service now.

I have a P74 as well. Rides very nice and is a great car!! It would be nice to mix P74 luxury items with P71 performance and heavy duty parts!

Switch to the "fully reply screen", and just under the text box it says "post options". Check the box that says "Add this thread to my watched topics".

You may have to change a setting or two under your "my stuff" heading at the top, can't really remember. But that'll get you headed the right direction.

EDIT: Under the "My stuff" tab, click on "my preferences". Under there, there is an option that reads "by default, should topics on your watch list be e-mailed to you?" (or something like that). Check yes.

you will only get an email for the first post after yours in a watched topic. All the posts after that will not send you an email. Once you log in and check that thread again and post then you will receive a notification again for the first reponse since you last post.. and so on and so forth.

Performance wise the dual exhaust gives a few more ponies at high RPM but adds weight. That is the main performance difference. I can drive for months on end with only a few moments above 2000 RPM. The dual exhaust would only add to my fuel bill at the end of the month. The oil cooler adds weight with no performance improvement. It may increase the life of the engine on long durations of idleing or sustained high speed operation.
Handling packages make no difference in normal slalom manouvers over stock suspension in good shape. You may notice the difference if you take freeway ramps in excess of 100mph.
Mixing suspension components can have undesireable consequences.
Handling package plus high speed tires will wear out the front end parts much quicker.
Enjoy you P74.
