Well i can tell you from what i have seen going to different garages and seeing several NC cars, the NCSHP takes very good care of all their vehicles. Most i have seen have been this clean and even though mine is barely used, most are going to be all highway miles and barely any wear in the backseat.

@Mark185 there isn't a website to look at the cars, but you can go to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol Vehicle Surplus Sales page on their website for garage locations and a price list of all their cars.

Here are some quick Snapshots of the Salisbury Garage. I have not seen a single dirty car on the whole lot and the interiors were also vacuumed regularly. If anyone is looking for a car, NC is the place to go.( I was given permission to take these pictures by an NCSHP Employee)

In the second picture, you might see a T-Boned and totaled Charger, it was a 2009 with 400 Miles on it!!!!

Have i thought about it yet? No. Have numerous people recommended it? Yes!

I think i need to see a car with it before i change it over. Also how easy is it to change out the rear fascia?

Nice car...like the silver and seems to have a good life.

One more Wally-World "Clutter Catcher" in my car too...

Nice Car, are you Active Duty? I think i see a badge holder on the rearview mirror. Also i love the Walmart Clutter Catcher but want to either custom make an armrest for it or just buy the jeep ultimate locking center console.

Your car is awesome, i love the color! I wish NC would get cool colors like Blue and Maroon/Red.

PS. How much did you spend on that Ford Floormat? I love that! Since its factory i'd imagine probably $#150 for the set?

That car is rediculously clean, man... great find! However, man those new full wheelcovers are hideous! Wal-Mart sells nicer. the '03-'04 style ones were much classier.

Is it just me or is the hood popped on that Vic?

I don't mind '06+ wheelcovers. There's far worse covers to get. I'd probably add them if I get an '06 or newer that didn't come with them.

BTW, the hood is popped open. The dscripition said it was doing taffic control, so it's open to let hot air escape.

That would make sense since lord knows the hours that car was sitting there, it was idling. I hate the fact that officers never really turn off their cars.

Well, technically it's better than:

responding to call,
arrive,
turn off cruiser,
come back 2 mins later, restart

drive 5 minutes,
arrive at conflict
turn off
conflict solved,
restart

10 mins later
pull over vehicle for wreckless driving,
turn off
get out, they drive off
get back in, turn on.

That type of stuff would put more strain on the engine than letting it idle would.

Oh i have no problem with stuff like that, but when it comes down to traffic control, Large investigations, lunch, stuff like that even they do not turn their cars off. Hence why some 06's hour meters show upwards of 2500 hours for some departments of just idleing. According to Ford that is about 83,500 Miles alone on the engine. My hour meter is only around 1516 Hours, but still thats alot!

No, not on activce duty. I did spend 10 years in the Air Force, but that was 11 years ago I had left. What you're seeing is the very botton of a Yankee Candle "Car Jar" (Midsummer's Night).

As for the floormats, I paid about $80.00 for the set of four. For some unknown reason, they were "Unavailable" from Ford when I was trying to get mine in March. A set was located in Sweetwater Tennessee and they had UPS'd 'em to me.

Thank you for the car comments!!, Mark.

Your 2007 CVPI looks almost identical to mine !!

I took this yesterday. I had my full wheel covers on it now for about a month. I like the center-cap look a little better.
