Does the switch operate the lights ?
If you pull the switch back out, there is a small circular "port" on the rear of the switch. turn it and that is where your bulb resides.

You should have plenty of room for them to fit no matter how different they are in back. You just have to make your brackets to fit accordingly

how about an update from the marquis guys? I want to run fogs on the 05 and have a set of rectangular kc highlighters kc highlights that i had on my 90 cougar . i already have a switch in the dash via the early style lh dash trim part( i added a clock in the center and got a earler panel to match the chrome on the center trim panel)

Do I have to cut these out of the bumper, or are they just covers that just come off?

I have two questions. Does the factory Marauder headlight switch plug right into the 2006 P71 headlight switch harness? Does it have a lighted indicator build into the switch?

I was also thinking of using a floor switch like the old high-beam switches. Remember them?

It'll plug into any 2003+ headlight switch harness... You just have to add the 2 leads that go to the relays.

I just picked up a set of used OE Focus fogs lights and just ordered a new Marauder headlight switch, everything is moving right along.

Is there a good place to tap into a 12v for the power inside of the car? or do I have to run right to the battery?

I'm going to be installing my Focus fogs lights next week. I'm trying to make sure I've got the wiring correct. I was going to use the below diagram but I'm not going to be using an HID set up. I have a Marauder headlight switch I'm going to use to control the fogs.



I guess my question is if I'm not using an HID set up can I use the below diagram to wire my fogs to the Marauder switch?



If I'm reading it correct, I would have to add a relay to the empty spot in the relay/fuse box under the hood, power from the fuse to 30, a line from 85 to the high beams, add pin 6 to 86, add pin3 to 87 and to power the fogs, and ground to the fogs. This seems much easier then the two relay set up above, for my application anyway. If this is right why would I need to add the wire from 85 to the high beams? Would that turn the fogs off if the high beams are activated?

Used the first diagram, fogs are installed and work as advertised. They look great and work like they were meant for the car. Highly recommended.
