They wanna find out where he lives so they can sneak up when he's sleeping. This guy knows. He is smart. Listen to him or suffer the consequences.

Actually I've been thinking about getting the pushbar installed on my 04 sport. Makes the car look a lot more badass. One of my favorite vics I've seen had the pushbar and fog lights behind the grill (no, NOT a cop!). Are these difficult to install? What sort of modification is required? Don't mean to hijack the thread or anything, but I figured since we're talking about push bumpers...

Not difficult to install the 5040, but if you get the 5038 Go Rhino, you will have to cut your bumper cover. The choice is yours but i chose 5040 and love it!

I've been an officer for over 15 years. I drive a CVP off duty with all lights etc. Laws vary from state to state. Some states are illegal to have a spotlight, some don't like push bumpers. While most agencies sell the whole car with full blown light bar, siren, wig wags, strobes, etc. It just depends. But you are more subject to being pulled over just for the sake that you might be an impersonator. If you get caught with ANY police equipment such as POLICE hats, shirts, fake badge, red/blue strobes, hooked up lightbar or siren, then you would have to cut the wires on the spot or consider riding in the back seat to the nearest city jail. I am all for anyone who wants to dress up their vehicle like a undercover car. Makes citizes more alert on seatbelts and speeding. When I retire I will still keep my go rhino bumper wrap just because I don't like slow drivers. People who drive 30 in a 45, or 55 on a 75. My car means, get out of my way b/c I am coming through. For all those who critize the look, then let it be your own opinon. I honestly think without a push bumper your car looks like an LX model and which most old folks drive. Of coarse this would be my work car, not my family car of choice. Wouldn't take the wife and kids out due to the fact that I could put my family in danger if I accidently ran into a drug deal and I was mistaken for a patrol officer. I live in AZ. Anybody over 18 can carry a handgun concealed or non concealed. It's the best state to live in. Just know the laws once you pull your weapon out of your holster. Then all laws against you come into affect. Make your car look as much as a cop as you want. Cut all wires for lightbars(making them visable from all sides), siren horns, do not have a siren controller inside, and do not have red and blue lenses. Chances are you might get pulled over just to check, but would be let go once you can prove everything is disabled. Just my opnion, but if you have any police equipment hooked up, you can be arrested. We do know how to turn all emergency on. Kill switches, hidden rockers, etc. Good luck and don't break the law. Last but not least, TX is cool for having red and blues on your grill, but again, the wires must be visably cut. It's when they are acctivated is when you get in trouble. Just remember you will get pulled over and have to show the officer. Most likely every day. Is it worth it, no. But the bumper and spot light, no problem. Never got pulled over in TX, OK, NM, and of coarse AZ.

Yup and with one the car looks like a Police car, a raggedy beat up ex police car, or a sacked out old taxicab.

If you want to f*** up a perfectly good car with a push bar, go for it. A P71 with one is acceptable. I bought a 04 Sport new & really enjoyed it. I see it every day here in town. It looks the same as it did when I traded. Honeycomb grill, rear deck spoiler, straight pipes with Maurader tips, 35% window tint. There aren't too many Sports, in good condition, around. It's yours to do with it what you want.

That's what I saying. [censored] man if you want a car with pushbars you can give me your sport (if it has low miles) and you can take my P71 and put pushbars on it. I've already got the marks and dents on the bumper cover already. Don't ruin your Sport.

I did debate a puchbar on my car, but I did consider it after some jack wagon backed into the front of the car and left. Fortunately I decided against it.

Awesome deal.....Welcome to CVN, Master8. What about you W4DWW? Since you live in my state. Had any problems with being pulled over because of your bumper? I might put one on mine but I don't want hassle.
