I think it is also on the unit it self, behind the door panel, at least that's what I have heard.

If you can't find it anywhere on your car, call Ford, provide them with your VIN, and as long as it's never been changed they should be able to tell you

It's on the module inside the drivers door but if you don't want to take anything apart...

+1, each car comes with a special code, a master code from the factory. You can program additional codes to it, but the master can't be erased to my knowledge. I'd call the dealer unless you you have another reason to remove the door panel.

I have the code for the first vehicle I owned with a keypad permanently embedded into my brain & the first thing I do when buying another car is program that code into it... I couldn't tell you the factory code for any of my current vehicles without looking it up but that old T-Bird code works every time...

5-10 minutes to open and close the door panel beats wasting time on the phone. All that's needed is a phillips screwdriver \:\)

I'll give you an easy way to remember your code. Your birthday! I've used that on all my Panthers. If you forget that one you shouldn't be driving at all!
