So, a buddy of mine at work said he knew someone selling some LX Sport wheels. He brought one in, and it looked in great shape, with a new-ish tire. The guy wants $600 for a set of 5. I'll of course take a look at all of them and see how they look, but if they're in good condition, does that sound like a fair price? Also does anyone have any pictures of these wheels on an arazona beige car? This is the style wheel: Sport Wheel

I currently have steelies with the wheel covers, which are beat up. I think this might be a nice change for the car.

If they're all in great shape with good tires I'd pay up to $500 for the set of five. If the other tires are crap then the most I'd pay would be $250-$300 for them.

If the tires are good then go for it. That'd be the deal breaker for me so long as the wheels are in good shape.

You don't indicate the year of your vehicle in you sig' HINT! HINT! HINT!

Nor do you mention the year of the LX Sport wheels. There's a difference in off-set / backspacing between the 2001-2 and the 2003+

*2001-2

*2003+

If your vehicle is <2003 and the wheels are 2003+ you will need wheel adapters ( 1" + recommended ).

Thanks for the HINT... I recently changed my sig and forgot the year. If you look at the wheels they are the newer "flat" ones, not the older deep dish. I chose that picture for a reason. My car is an '04. Thanks for the post. More then anything I was looking to see if the price was fair.

Understand. However, -IF- wheel adapters would have been required the fair price wouldn't have been so fair. Ergo the post.

Yea thanks, I didn't think much about that, but it's a good point. I think I'm going to hold off anyway. I'm going to stay with my sleeper status cool

Yea, I'd say that's about right. It was one of those things that seemed like a good idea at the time, but the more I think, the less I think it's worth the money.
