lol, wrong website to ask about BIG RIMS. Not to popular on this site. Here's a link for ya if you just wanna read other peoples ideas/suggestions on how they went about lifting etc...; http://www.kingofthestreet.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=58750

They do make "FULL LIFT KITS" for these cars too. If you're gonna do it, spend the money and do it right; You will have to lift "A LITTLE BIT" but it doesn't take that much for 26's. An INCH at the very most. If you go with a skinny tire like a 275/25/26 or a 255/30/26, you wont have to lift or cut barely at all; http://universalcarlifts.com/product_info.php?cPath=30_42&products_id=44 This particular kit comes with;

Lift Cups That installs under your factory Coil Springs (Get the 3" Cups. That's enough to clear & fit some 26's. They're big, but they're not THAT big. You can always cut the cups down to like 2", or 1.5 to get a nice clean stance, and not have that "OVER-LIFTED" look;

Front and Rear Heavy Duty Adjustable Control Arms for the front of the car to eliminate the negative camber (where the wheel tilts inwards towards the top) that is caused when lifting a car; Adjustable Arms will keep your tires from wearing excessively on the inside and will keep your alignment on straight.

Rear Adjustable Trailing Arms to keep the wheel centered in the wheel well and drive shaft angle correct;

Panhard Bar which keeps your Rear-End centered side to side;

New Ball Joints

Extended Heavy Duty Shocks

You also can search on eBay for one of their Front-End Rebuild Kits for Crown Vics/Grand Marquis/Town Cars;
http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Suspension-Steering-/33579/i.html?_dmpt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&_fln=1&_mqf=0&_qfkw=1&_trksid=p4506.c0.m273&Make=Ford&Model=Crown%2520Victoria

^^^You can merge one of those particular kits with the Lift Kit and it comes with;

2 Upper Ball Joints
2 Lower Ball Joints
2 Sway Bar Links
2 Rear Sway Bar Links
2 Outer Tie Rod Ends
2 Inner Tie Rod Ends
1 PITMAN ARM
1 IDLER ARM
2 ADJUSTING SLEEVES

Some pics of 3" Lift Cups installed under Springs

Tha Car with those Cups;

He's on a 295/35/24 Tire though. He could sit it down a bit buy cutting the Cups down, and get an OVERALL BETTER STANCE, but come on people, it's not THAT bad...

Now, as far as performance goes, the sky is the limit. just depends on how much money you have, You can get you a set of Ford Racing 3.73 or 4.10 Gears, and still have very nice acceleration;
K&N 57 Series Intake - 57-2544
Marauder 80mm MAF
Ford Racing 70mm Throttle Body
ADTR Ported & Polished Plenum
Steeda Underdrive Pulleys - 701-0001
Stainless Works L/T Headers - CRVICHDROR
Magnaflow Cat-Back (DON'T HAVE TO USE MUFFLERS OR TAILPIPES, IT'LL STILL FIT - 16788
Flowmaster Original 40's - 42443
BOC Blue Oval Chips Stage I or Stage II 10" TC
I mean the skys the limit buddy. I could go on & on...

That's not safe at all look at that lower ball joint and you want to drive around Richmond like that one good ride down broad street downtown and that's toast. You wont be able to so in shockoe bottom or the old part of hull or Midlothian were their doing all that road work.

Go on youtube and type in "crown vic on 26s"...read the comments on any video, LITERALLY ANY VIDEO in the search results and you will get a good and basic translation of what just about everyone is REALLY trying to say...not the site.

Holy Massive Positive camber batman! That car would be a NIGHTMARE to take around a corner. Huge increase in unsprung mass. Huge increase in center of gravity. Huge decrease in outer tire contact patch.

I think I would rather run 10 miles on wet ice in my bare feet than drive that car in any kind of weather.

Might as well do a 4x4 swap and throw some mud tires on there if the car is going to sit that high.

in those picture's the suspension is messed up ten ways from Sunday, I would not feel safe in that car, definitely did not modify that car properly. please read the BOK for proper modding techniques.

and
I really want to say how car's lifted like that make me feel, but this is a family forum believe it or not and there is children present.... ...Sorry but doing that to a car is just like my three yr old throwing a temper tantrum just for attention...Nothing of value is gained.

You know, at first I was going wtf at that response. But, I then figured out the sarcasm behind it before I made a fool out of myself. At least I hope that is sarcasm laugh

rant I found out the hard way asking about big rims on this site is bad idea everyone hates em . if i could aford 30 inch spinners i would do it cause i like it .. to each his own.. i love the way that blacked out vic looks tbh its not modified for precision handling its modified for the flashy aspect wich is perfectly fine if you dont like it just keep it to yourself you dont have to try and look smart by bashing his taste in cars that just makes you look like a dick..
just felt like that needed to be said

Yeah not only is that car Hideous and an abomination to the Panther world, it doesn't looks safe to drive what-soever!! I wouldn't drive that thing if you paid me, I don't' feel like dying if i hit a pothole the wrong way.

But hey i value my car and my life more than others, so i guess you can count me out on the whole "rollin' on dubz" movement.
