26's "SITTIN LOW"

24's "TUCKED"

26" Billets "TUCKED"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVY4FrNpVHw

PROOF, doesn't have to be jacked-up in the air for 24's+. It can be done RIGHT, to sit nice & low on em.

Yeah but they rub like an SOB, wear the tire out prematurely and will only cause issues down the road with suspension. Sorry but none of those are appealing to me whatsoever.

24's "TUCKED"

I'm kinda diggin that look. Maybe not with 24s but maybe 22s or 20s. Although I can't see how it steers tucked like that.

That is one of my favorite looks. Even more so with big full sized cars. Big wheels and tucked tires with a low stance looks cool to me. It's one reason I like the stuff that Chip Foose designs so much.

As far as steering, it would depend on how wide those tires were really as well as how much camber is being used. It might need steering stops, but Considering guys have run 275's and 285's up front on these cars, I doubt it would be too much of a problem. The real issue would be ride quality lol.

So the positive camber in the car makes it harder to steer. Those massive wheels make the brakes work that much harder, increasing both stopping distances and pad wear. The "lift cups" (sounds like women's undergarments to me) stretch the suspension to the limit and will wear your ball joint out in, like, a week. The super-low profile tires mean a harsh, uncomfortable ride, and also means every time you hit a pothole, you're paying $2000 for a new massive rim and tire.

Based on all that, if you're going to do this to a car, invest in a good F-250 and enclosed car trailer, because you're going to end up with a trailer queen fit only for the car shows, and practically undrivable on the street on a daily basis. But to me, if you can't drive it, it kinda defeats the purpose of having a car, doesn't it?

I'll make what you just said really short for those with short attention spans...

If you put 24"s or bigger on your panther...you're an idiot.

If you defend them, you're an even bigger idiot. laugh

Anyone who sees the pictures of the suspension on those cars and still defends it really stupid.

I think that properly offends everyone who needs to be offended.
