That also applys to HD trucks with lift kits and Rockstar-esque wheels.

Also applies to vehicles with rubber bull testicles on the back bumper.

That's good, you learn anything new? There is TONS of fine looking wheels that fit the Panthers perfectly without compromising ride and safety, can even install some sic air ride system and still get great performance out of your car...Check out www.ADTR.net and see what he offers for suspension everybody that has bought those parts have been extremely happy with the performance and ride improvement.

Wrong site to ask for rim tips...go to kingofthestreet and start reading...a lot of guys on this site are very smart and know the ins and outs of Vic but lifting is not their thing....its like a foreign language....im a member of here and kots so i can hopefully get the best of both worlds....
everyone on here is gonna think a lift is stupid
everyone has their own opinions and your really not gonna find people here who like rims pass 20 inches personally 6's to big for me im going 4's no lift although i gotta life tha i bought in 9th grade when lifting was in style i got it from universalcarlifts.com

I thought this thread died lol.

The real problem is, everybody makes massive assumptions on both sides. Some people think the big wheels look stupid, but not all of us. I love how 20's and even some 22's can look on these cars, but it depends on the style of the wheel. I personally dislike the lifted look with a passion, and I think even the stock ride height just looks wrong. I like a car to be a little lower.

It all comes down to personal opinion and preference.

My only argument is when things aren't done with a concern for safety in mind. Why do anything if you aren't going to at least do it intelligently.

Now let this thread die lol.

Well, from a practical standpoint, I was never a fan of lowered cars. Too many things to drag the undercarriage on. Stock ride height suits me fine. As does the 16" tires with plenty of sidewall. I've never had so many tire problems on a car as I did when I had a car that came with 45 series tires on 17" rims. For a daily driver, 15 or 16" tires suit me fine. If I were building a muscle-car for a weekend toy, I personally would never go bigger than 18" wheels.

But hey, this is America, and if someone wants to spend their time and money making cars look goofy, more power to them. Its just that I won't be joining that bandwagon anytime soon.

i would never go bigger than 18" wheels on a truck unless it is a medium duty truck or bigger.

I have a 94 Crown Vic lx on 26ís. I have upgraded the pads and brakes, shaved and ported heads, rebuilt trans w/shift kit, 5 inch cup and shock kit, dual Flowmaster exhaust, 4.10 gear and posi differential on the way, entirely new front end, etc, etc, Really too much to list. I can pull 3 point u-turns with no rub no problem. I donít do this for attention or to compensate for anything else. I do this because this is what I like to do. I really could care less if the next person likes my car or not as long as it makes me happy. To the OP, if you want to put 6ís on your vic itís going to take a lot of time and money. If you have any questions feel free to pm me.
