Interim.

Anybody ever tell you that you'd make a good lawyer, you only ask the questions that you already know (or think you know) the answers to.

I know that's an April Fool's joke, but I'd definitely drive that.

Actually, the Fox LTD (aka Baby LTD) NEVER used the Roman Numeral II suffix. The '77-'79 LTD II was a squared-off Torino with a longer nose.

Anyway, Ford did actually ponder a 4-door Mustang variant back in a day, but obviously never materialized.

Although the linked article was indeed an April Fools joke (especially since the current Mustang is due to be replaced as an early 2015 model); now that the Crown Vic is gone, a 4-door Mustang may not seem so off-the wall. Personally, I would loved to see that treatment done on the '05-'09 models.

Even as an April Fools joke, it looks pretty sweet!

Oh how embarrassing, I am old enough to remember the LTDII and I used to park brand new Marquis broughams back in 84

April fools or not... Hmmm Indeed!

That'd actually be a good idea.

Wouldn't be the first time Ford brought back a nameplate after a year or two off... Taurus anyone?

As if anyone would NEED to... Odd as it might seem with this being a forum devoted to the Panther which is a RWD platform, there is an entire cheering section here whose goal seems to be the promotion of other platforms at any cost.

Always made me wonder how much the marketing department at Ford pays for this 'amateur advertising' every month.

careful now, speaking in favor of either Panther platform and/or RWD V8 cars will get the Taurus groupies to foam at the mouth hurling insults at you. It's not that they actually drive a Taurus, they just know more things about cars better than you.

Those who do own Taurus's seem to be a lot more objective and less fanatical about it.

He's already put in the same group you're in. Fanatical opinionated biased old timers who have no facts to offer...only opinions they think are facts, which are easily disproved with actual facts.

You think the panther's the best thing since sliced bread...news flash...it isn't. If it was it wouldn't have been the last BOF RWD sedan ever made...

Times change, we've learned to move on and adapt to the change...you haven't.

I remember when I bought that magazine just for that pictorial. I think that car is awesome. I could have bought one of those as a police package from the local school board with 33k on it when I was 14 for 75 bucks. 5.0 and all. But my dad wouldn't let me spend my money. Lol. And for this 4dr mustang, I actually really like it. To bad its not real
