Hi. Anyone know how to order (part number) the plastic push-pins (graphite color) that hold up the headliner? There are three on my 2000 PI -- one in the front and two in the back. I visited the local fleet dealer and here's what he discovered:

On the computer: P/N N802734-S0U
Using a book: P/N N802734-S20U

The description is push-pin, 25mm x 20 mm x 8.25 mm

Sounds about right, though no mention of the color. He tried to order, but no price was linked to the part numbers we got from the illustrations, so no order could be placed. I was really surprised that this seemed like an oddball request as this was a fleet dealer in San Francisco. The parts guys said I might have some luck letting the service department look into this. There's no way I'm going to hire a Ford mechanic at $115+/hour to research three plastic push-pins for me. These guys deal with the same parts counter (and references) as I did. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks --Norman

Find someone who does headliners.
I can get a new headliner installed here in a matter of a couple hours, for under $50. They even drive out to your car and do it...

The Ford number that you are looking for is
F5SZ-63022354-ABT Graphite push pins to retain headliner at the rear window. list price is $.77 each. 10 in a bag.
I don't see a push pin in the front of the headliner, but I'd try this one and see if it works!

Hi Bob -- thanks for your note. I definitely have one pushpin in the front and center, near the "cop light". Mine is a 2000. Perhaps these are different for the '93s? Would you say the measurements of your two pushpins are 25mm x 20mm x 8.25mm? I checked with fordpartsnetwork.com without success. I'll see if a dealer can order these for me. At .77/ea, not a huge risk.

Thanks --Norman

Norman -

If you try and buy them at the counter, they'll sell them only by the bag of ten. If you need them in graphite, I have 7 of them left. I posted them for sale in the parts forum, but no one bit on them. Let me know if you want them.

Hi Code3. I use three of them so seven's not too many. Please let me know your mailing address and the amount and I'll send you the $$$. Thanks! --Norman (nnoble@mindspring.com).
