I LOVE the rear end on this bodystyle.. If I could find myself a 97 P71 I would snatch it up! Nice car.

So Some updates.
Got to change the oil again (140k now)
Picked up some steel wheels, with caps, and threw winter tires on them, ordered some '16 beauty rings as well.
Got my stereo in, Kenwood with Bluetooth, USB/AUX, Pandora etc.
Also had a bad O2 sensor, no big deal really. Running Great!
Pictures this weekend when I can was it, shes dirty!

Really good looking car there! Aero Vics are hard to come by near me in any kind of shape. Seems like those more than the Mercury ended up in the hands of people who just couldn't be bothered less to care for a car.
With the winter tires, this a year-round runner then? Where does it fall in the fleet?

The car was undercoated before, I touched it up a bit, so it's good enough.
This car is just the winter beater-mobile. There's a guy at work that really really wants it so I'm going to sell it to him when everything thaws out.
Plan on getting a newer (08+) CVPI as next years beater

Really nice car! I've always had a thing for those aero body Crown Vics. Would never be able to find anything that year that's in that shape around where I live. Heck, most 3 year old cars around here aren't even that clean!
