I know some of the cars had the space saver doughnut spares. I'm thinking you could have that inside the trunk and not take up much room. Not sure where you would get hold of one though.

I was thinking that actually. Another option would be a false floor on top of the tire if I move it to bottom of the cavern in the trunk (if it would lay flat). Just cut a piece of mdf, carpet it and lay it in there on top of the spare (maybe put my jack and other small stuff under there too.

On a related note I picked up some Pioneer TS-A6885R speakers I tossed in the front doors. Had to bust the Metra speaker harnesses a bit to swap the wires but it all worked out fine. Polarity is still straight and I didnt need to splice any wires. The speakers are alright. About what I expected. May move them to the rear and get a nice set for the front but this is fine for now.

Scored a pretty decent set of CVPI center caps for $42 at a local yard. They usually overcharge the hell out of me for things (which they think they did here I think) but I guess they didnt realize the actual used value of these caps in good shape. I see them online for like $25 a piece on various sites from quick checks.

Gonna order some new lugs I think. DOnt think mine have the collar to snap them too but Ill check later.

Nice new-to-you vehicle! How do the fluids in the car look (power steering, brake, transmission, coolant, etc.)? I realize the car only has 44k miles, but if they are original, would be worth replacing as they are 10+ years old now.
