Greetings All, figured Id share some pictures of the transformation of my 05. Prior to this year the only real mods were tint, 4.10's, and being lowered.

Started off in Spring with new wheels. I did have a set of bullets that were painted black I drove around on for a while but a trip to get new tires turned into a new set of Torque Thrusts

Second on the to do list was paint. The roof was peeling paint like crazy like many of white vics do. I am pretty certain it was a black and white that was later painted all black. I decided to try the plastidip route. Ordered the kit from dipyourcar and pretty happy overall. The following pictures are just a few I took of the prepping and body work. This included filling antenna and light bar holes in the roof and the holes behind the rear door molding.I did have help from a friend thankfully otherwise would have been a bit much for me to do alone.

And the finished product. I plan to spray the car once more in a month to even out the finish and repair some bubbles that are showing on the front bumper. Overall though I am happy and was a nice budget paint job

Went with the badge free grill also. Still needs sanding and paint but you really don't notice unless you look close

Now that it looked a little meaner I wanted to invest in some performance upgrades

Picked up some power stop rotors and pads and painted the calipers. Seemed necessary with such a pretty rotor

The rears are painted as well but not pictured.

Next up....Torque Converter! Thanks to Circle D and the folks over there. Went with the 3200-3400

And finally some headers (yet to be installed). Thanks to ADTR

Ill be updating when complete and maybe be able to share a track time. I want to get a decent tune as well

How do you like the 4.10s?

I like them quite a bit and I have taken several road trips that were over 700 miles round trip. I think they are very streetable for our cars and many will agree but you do loose some MPG on the highway.

Before the converter change I could hit it and get very little spin. The car just went and felt like an improvement over the 3.55 factory gear. Now with the higher stall if I punch it off the line it will spin pretty much through an intersection.

Looking forward to the header install and how it will compliment the other mods

Those headers look great! Not many get the black ceramic coating. Looks like the car is coming along nicely!

Just a quick update - HEADERS ARE IN AND SOUNDS AWESOME

To be honest I was not prepared for the volume. At the time of install I had to reconnect the leads to the factory H and factory piping. The mufflers were previously removed and glass packs welded in place. It was a bit on the obnoxious side running that way for a week. It was hard to describe but very poppy and annoying. Had to accelerate slow but the high stall didn't help much.

Once I got some 2.5" pipe and some Thrush Muffs it changed the sound dramatically. Still has the volume but the tone is so much better and sounds like muscle.

Hope to have a video soon from inside and out. Stay tuned

sorry for delay, took a couple videos today after replacing the radiator and fan. That is a another story

First vid is me taking off from dead stop. I did not bring the rpms up at all just flashed floored it. Second half of the video is in car

The second is throwing a few revs maybe 10 feet back. I did record a video under the car but sounded distorted and really could not make out the tone with the volume. This was the best recording of the two

Let me know what you guys think

Sounds nice and looks good. Those Thrush's have that Flowmaster sound. Also, how far did you lower the car? Love the way it sits.

I agree it does have the flowmaster sound but cheaper to buy lol. Car is lowered 1.5" front and rear. It had somewhat of a rake even with the same size tire all the way around. Now I am running 245/45/17's up front and 255/50/17 in the back. Front tires are roughly 25.7" in diameter which brings the nose down a little further and the taller rears helped fill the gap that remained. I have found dips in the road and speed bumps a hassle though. I scrape the front air dam that shields the lower radiator hose. Aside from that I like the stance too smile
