Got all my parts the last two days but I'm still stuck. One of the brand new control arms I ordered had the ball joint boot gashed wide open! On a brand new MOOG! So now I have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for the replacement arm to come in.

Another question, all of my new ball joints are "sealed" with no zerks.. do I need to do anything with them prior to installation? Or do you just pop the new parts in as is?

sealed joints should be installed as-is. Tho I could not help myself and did pop open my new lower ball joints and pack a bit more grease in there when I installed them. They didn't really need it, they had enough in them.

As far as the greaseless components, I do not like them. I always get grease able parts when ever humanly possible.

Greaseless....shmeashless....

I've got all my stuff and started the project. Drivers side is completely done. I ran into one problem on the passenger side that's keeping me from finishing this thing. One of the lower control arm bolts is seized to the metal sleeve inside the bushing.. I've tried propane, sledgehammer, 2 ton bottle jack and even a sawzall (that bolt must me made of diamond because nothing will cut it)

Anyone have any ideas on how to break the bolt loose from the sleeve? That's the only thing keeping me from being done and its super frustrating!

More sazall blades. And yeah, you'll want to replace it with the correct application bolt... It afterall is the only thing(s) that keeps the wheel attached to the car.

I've rebuilt the front end on 2 Grand Marquis and have used Duralast, Moog, and Raybestos parts. If I were to rank them in order I'd say 1.)Moog, 2.)Raybestos, 3.)Duralast. I'm currently running Moog control arms and ball joints with no complaints. Just make sure to buy greasable fittings and keep up with the greasings every oil change.

She's all done and just got aligned today.
I ended up with all 4 Moog arms and ball joints, Moog front swaybar links, and I added KYB Gas Adjust #5458 (interceptor) shocks to the front. It drives like a whole new car with nice and tight steering. No more body roll or that loose boaty feeling, especially around corners its a night and day difference.
