Bought a new engine fan assembly and oil pressure sensor for my 2008. I haven't touched the car in forever, school is really taking up all my free time.

Visited the parents for the weekend and washed the brother's 01 HPP last night. Probably the first time it's been washed since the winter.

Decided to visit the junk yard this morning. A lot of same cars as last fall yet.
I spotted an HPP Mercury about to enter the yard. It was the medium wedgewood blue which was what, a 98-99? I'll try and get back next weekend and grab the swaybar and maybe a wheel or two.
Also spotted this 04 Merc. Probably be some time before this one goes in.
Black interior, wood wheel with redundant controls, air-ride non-HPP.

Picked up another 09 motor which came with everything besides the intake. Throttle body, fuel rails, ac, alternator, coils everything came with it. Going to start putting together a parts list and try to get 300 or so hp or so out of it.

Took these things out.

Finished making some brake lines, then realized I forgot to put one of the fittings on, so I cut the tip off and fixed it.

Filled the trunk and back seat up with these:

Test fit one as well to see how they looked:

I have a few questions i am going to ask in the tire/wheel section.

They will fit just fine.

They won't throw your speedo off enough to worry about.

You should buy some new lug nuts, and a lock set.

Those tires look slightly dry rotted.

Is that close? Am I in the ballpark?

Took the Marauder to a charity car show and parked next to another Marauder with some ghost stripes on it (and a LeBaron). Local dude and his ladyfriend (wife?), he's on MMN, pretty cool.

After that, I drove down to grandma's house and took her out to lunch.

Later on, I took Stick Vic for a spin.

Did a redneck repair on my BIL Vic, the intake manifold cracked at the thermostat housing and was pissing coolant. He's leaving this week for the summer and doesn't want to spend the money on an intake manifold so we sealed it up with some marine epoxy. Hopefully it'll last a while.

It's still not charging, definitely not the alternator as we had it bench tested. Battery light still works so it's not that either. Gonna remember to bring my multimeter today and see if we can figure it out. Not too familiar with the wiring on these cars so well see how it goes.

Broke it frown . Developed a nasty rattle seemingly right under my feet, guessing the rear bushing on the l/f front LCA crapped out. Dammit, if it ain't one thing...

Replaced the squealing front brakes with Motorcraft rotors and SD pads and finally put the LX Sport wheels on. I took a photo, but the car is so filthy I can't post it.
