So my 2010 p7b that I just got has low coolant, I'm praying it's not the upper intake manifold leaking, if it is I'm sure I can replace is due to the 1000 posts about it, but my question is, is there anyway to test for leaks, how would I find the leak, should I just keep topping it off, and universal coolant, I have about a gallon of that should I use it, and finally(sorry) if it's not a leak what else could it be?

You need to pressure check the cooling system. Harbor Freight, Stant, others make a kit with various sized adapters to fit multiple radiator openings. They are not one size fits all

Top it up when it's cold, and keep an eye on it to see if it drops, or if someone simply just didn't fill it up completely. Failing that, you need to pressure test the system as mentioned above.

As White Falcon LS wrote, top up coolant and observe it's level. If it lowers, you have a leak. Good way of searching it is to light a front of radiator and hoses with a sharp flashlight in the dark (not brightly lit garage or something like this). The leak will reflect the light of the flashlight.
If the leak is not massive you may not be able to observe it because the coolant quickly evaporates on a hot radiator.
Than pressure check is useful. Small and medium leaks may come from small holes (usually invisible) in front of radiator caused by stones coming through a grill.
If it is the reason of a leak, you have to either replace the radiator or disassemble it, take to a workshop which locates the holes and TIG welds them.
I think in the USA it is much cheaper to replace the radiator with a new one than welding. Quite the opposite than here in Poland where we don't have much radiators for CVPI ;-)

Best regards

I'd rather use distilled water to top it off than "universal" coolant. I ruined my '96 Taurus with that junk.
