so howdy everyone :P im new to the whole 5.0 side since i owned a 2000 P-71 until i came across a 1991 mercury GM colony park LS. so the guy told me the OD is slipping but drive works well, I test drove it like i stole it due to my 00 vic having a bad tranny and my lack of testing leading to me loseing 600$ in parts and 12 hours. so when i left the lot with my "new" MGM i lost all power about 5 miles away but it wasn't like my vic. i floored it and no power no reving nothing just idle, i stopped and tried again and it moves again and shifts with no shimmy or hesitation and has "power" lol but a few miles i had a lurch when i tried to speed up and had to pump the gas to pick up. so thats where im confused!

First, check the "READ HERE FIRST... TV grommet info" sticky at the top of this forum. It's got everything you need to know about the original plastic part that breaks.

checked bushing and that looks alittle shot but is connected still i think. did not look like any of the other pics iv seen though
