Well guys after many years of wanting one and waiting for the right one to come up on the auction site that wasn't a big pile of garbage, I'm finally making my debut. I'm a former mustang enthusiast, but I have small children now, so this is my compromise. I plan to keep my upgrades simple and cheap due to that fact. I already acquired some beautiful 19" GT/CS charcoal wheels off the old mustang forum I'm on, $150!!!! Next is to tint it, get a Bluetooth radio, swap the captains for a bench and maybe a couple magnaflow mufflers and marauder tips and that's it. I'm here to google and learn. Feel free to share simple mods that are cheap and free.

You might wanna add J-mod to the list; as far as I'm concerned it's a must-do mod and will help prolong the transmission's life while making the car more fun to drive. 88grandmarq is (maybe) nearby in North Georgia and is a trans guru who can undoubtedly knock one out for you. Or if you're the DIY sort, Rizzo made a handy video...


Without knowing what year/model Panther you have, it'll be hard to suggest much. Recommend editing your signature to include your vehicle's year/make/model and we can go from there.

Cheap/free rules out the following mods: headers, tune, 5-speed swap, forced induction


Maybe some Addco swaybars or some upgraded rear control arms would be in your budget. Idunno.

I'll def take those under advisement as well. Mainly interested in that tranny mod!!
