The car is (was) a base 2002 MGM

I’m having a rather laborious time trying to find a driver’s side muffler hanger bracket (I believe the actual Ford part number is F8AZ-5260-AB) without spending an absolute fortune on a vague description of what I would be buying. I’m not sure if it’s my local area or what but, even with pictures I can’t seem to get anyone to understand “for 98-02 on the driver's that had dual exhaust”. To add to this there are apparently no police interceptors “for part salvage” anywhere near me.

Is there a secret handshake or some sort of code word I don’t know about when trying to find one of these things? I mean seriously, it’s like everyone that I tell this to thinks I’m trying stock pile unobtainium or something.

Based on what I'm seeing, I'd agree that you're right on the money with that part number...but that price is stupid. For that price, if you haven't already bought all the other dual exhaust goodies, you'd almost have to consider just going all customs front-to-back.

I know lmao. My current solution looks like someone just went to lowes and bought a small bag of hardware and some HVAC hole strap... well it exactly looks like that lol... It works but I mean, there is noway i'm going to leave it like that.
