Ok guys, I need some help with this one.

We have a 1997 CVPI at work and someone hacked up my previous wiring and I need to re-do it b/c it lights intermittently (Working fine before someone messed with it) but I am stumped. WE Got a Code 3 V-Con siren (Model # 3672L4). Its got 3 siren tones (Wail, Yelp, Hyperwelp) and Air Horn, PA and the 4 buttons and 3 position slide switch. Its hooked up to a Federal Signal JetStream.

I have searched Code 3's website and Galls website for the wiring diagram and came up empty. Anybody got a wiring diagram of the Code 3 V-Con 3672L4? Thanks!

On my old V-con, the wiring diagram was on decals attached to the back and bottom of the siren box itself.

I've since sold it to Sgt. Al though. I know he's got it mounted in a console, but you might want to send him a PM to see if he can see them.

I used a voltage detector while turning the switches on and off to find what switch goes to what screw in the back. Wiring problem fixed.

Then, something internal sparked and I smelled smoke afterwards. Opened up the V-Con and found a fuse the controls the "amber" setting on the slide-switch came detached from the circuit board. I put it back in there carefully, closed it back up, mounted it carefully on the console, tested all lights and thats all she wrote. Wrote up that the V-Con might be going bad and ways to avoid that fuse from becoming detached. Glad this crap is over with.

Not just the VCON... but the Mastercom as well. Those things are nightmare's.
