This was my P71. I didn't have a "Before" picture yet, because I had just gotten it a day short of three months before this photo was taken and had just finished touching up the paint where decals had been removed and had just gotten the new tires and center caps.
As I was passing a semi on the interstate, a little hatchback got on and swerved right into the passing lane while still about ten miles under the limit. I didn't have enough room to stop, so I swerved onto the shoulder. While the road was clear and dry, my tires hit the snow covered grass at the edge of the narrow shoulder, putting me into a spin. I shot back across the road and into the embankment on the other side, just missing getting t-boned by the semi I was passing.

This was my Mother's '01 TC, before.

And after. She had side-swiped a parked car and ran into a house.

Not totalled, but...
This is my Merc when I first got it.

After I got scraped by a tractor-trailer.

And after my excellent body shop got finished with it.

Before (as if anyone doesn't know what a stock 2000 Grand Marquis look like)

After parking lot scuffle, who can't see a white Grand Marquis, too little?

Number 2, hit in rear quarter causing car to spin and go over curb then over median. Over 35 working days and they couldn't get it right, granted most of the damage was mechanical, but still, they didn't do a good job on the bodywork at all.

For real. That is literally amazing. I would have thought that would be a total loss.

No way I would have let them, the roof being cave was structural. They would have had to cut one from another car and weld it in place on the one being repaired.

That's exactly what was done. A new roof was welded in place.

How did that happen? It looks like someone put something really heavy on that corner of the car.
