True that one should be able to block all tracking if they like, however. That said, the speculation itself is absurd, as there's no database massive enough to store audio clips from every Windows machine. All of this telemetry sounds like it's data scraping (especially the keystrokes) to improve functions and learn user habits (all of which legit should be able to be turned off). Otherwise, the amount of data would be staggering, there's no cost-benefit analysis in the world where that'd tip in Microsoft's favor if they were doing that. Edit: Ah. Yes. I see what kind of site we're dealing with here. Chemtrails, NSA tunnels under Walmarts, and all liberals are stupid and we're all going to die. Pretty much playbook fear-mongering. Moving on. Ventana Knows All the Angles Poobah Registered: 04/14/05 Posts: 7871 Loc: Pacific Northwest	I downloaded Windows 10 a few days ago and I've had no issues. In fact, everything seems a little faster on my 4 year old desktop. I like the graphic improvements: everything looks crisper. All my programs (especially Autocad which I worried most about) don't seem to have been affected by the upgrade. Microsoft finally got it right, IMO.
