Does it have clamps between both ends of the flexible hose part? If it does, just loosen the clamps and slide it off. If not, you're probably going to have to find a whole intake tube from a junkyard if there's one nearby.

I've had KYB gas-a-just mono-tubes on my MGM since November 2020 without any problems so far. OEM springs.

Not a solution but my old 2004 started pinging under light load about the time it reached 300k. Nothing I ran through it would change that so I just ran 93 in it until I sold it last year at >340k.
