Well it's not buffing out this time. Early this morning the car got sideways around an s-curve and slid into a tree in somebody's front lawn. Fortunately it was real early and no one was outside when it happened. The tree was literally only 6" wide. It was two of my buddies in the car and as you can tell the back seat passenger was not wearing a seat belt (I'm usually good about my passengers being belted) and flew through the rear pass. window upon impact.

Fortunately, we are all OK with the exception of my painful ribs and one of my buddy's headache. We're going to the hospital to get checked out here in an hour. So stay tuned you just might be able to get some parts here in the next week.

Better that you're alive. The car is just a tool and can be replaced.

Sure its disheartening to see a nice car go to scrap, but as long as you're alive because of its safety features. That is all that matters.

Ouch! That hurts to look at. Sorry about your car man, but really glad everyone's ok. Sounds like your backseat passenger got really, really lucky.

Thanks guys. I knew I could count on the CVNCVLSG (CVN Crown Vic Loss Support Group lol)

Speed, I would say ~50 before losing control. It is a fairly long curve. As much as I loved my car I'm not all too upset only because this is a chance to upgrade to a newer Vic. Never thought it would go like this though!

Also, the driver's seat back broke one of the bolts when we hit it.

It looks like he was only doing about 30mph on impact.

Well since all of you are OK, I'll wish you a speedy fiscal recovery.

Ouch sorry to hear of yet another.
I'll quote my drunk friend.
