It used to be that my vic would consistently start up, no problems, no questions asked, regardless of temperature or the forces of nature. Lately, this is not so. It seems like the vic is having a 'cold start' symptoms-wise, but because of the relative newness of this problem, I figure that's not it. Basically, the first time I try to start the car in the morning, it stalls out and dies. If I pump the gas once or twice, this gets it going and it rides fine afterwards. (97 lx)

Doesn't seem to get worse with different levels of cold.

IAC sounds like it's bad, you might also consider cleaning your MAF.

Clean the IAC and let us know what happens.
