what be the best plugs for this car? i dont want to pop something in thats gonna give problems down the road. the plugs need to be good to run in a high heat environment such as the desert, but hold up to desert cold during that time of year.

Stock motorcraft plugs, stick with oem and you will not have any problems.

i used to use nothing but bosch plugs...what the heck happened to their quality over the past couple of years?

they are talking about the "other" bosch plug with four tips...

just use motorcraft.. your car is stock.. keep it that way.. watch the gap.. check em to .054 and you will be good to go

im talking about the 2 prong ones. they dont seem to be good on too many cars anymore or something. i guess tech has changed
i put them in my LT1, crap
my KA24DE, crap
they did well on my 3.0vulcan though.

im running NGK's TR-55 V-Power, so far they are an awesome plug, smooth idle and running, MotorCraft are also great plugs.

were is the darn plugs? dont laugh but i have looked and felt everywhere and cant see them on my 2003

lol they are deep in the cylinder head. they are right under the coil boots.right next to the injectors.

They are on top of the engine, under the fuel rails, and each one has its own coil which is about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

My fathers neighbor when he got his 4.6 powered truck told me it didn't have spark plugs, even after I pulled one out for him it was shaking his head, they weren't on the side by the exhaust, so they weren't spark plugs!
