LCPLPunk Rookie Registered: 06/21/07 Posts: 77 Loc: Central Texas	Howdy, I have a 99 CVPI and I just got my police hubcap (not the pancake ones) and some Explorer lugnuts. I put the lugs on and and the cap doesn't go on. The cap isn't hard to get on, it just doesn't stay on at all. I can't hammer it down at all because it already touches the rim. Are the explorer lugnuts not the right kind for these hubcaps? I went to 12 (yes 12) Auto stores to find 20 of these things and now they don't work. What EXACT lugnuts do I need and where other than the stealership can I get them? Better yet, what are some part numbers for the EXACT ones I need? Thanks in advance!

I used 3 per wheel and 2 of the ordinary ones and the caps where still on tight. But I don't have the part #, I just asked for the 99 Police lugnuts for center caps from the dealer, They were about $1.50 a pop. _________________________ Mine is a 99P74 (4 door of coarse)

baravelli Climber Registered: 03/20/07 Posts: 592	Not exactly. The dog dish lugz do not hold beer cans securely. They work if you futz with the center cap clips. Can be embarrassing when a wheel cover goes down the road faster than the car.
