Ok, I spent a nice day on some back roads driving my vic pretty hard. When I got back to my shop I was hearing a creaking noise coming from the back of the car everytime I left from a stop and when I was coming to a stop. Basically when there was pressure on the rear either starting or stopping the back of the car creaks. I checked the body mounts, shut the air off jacked it up and had a look. Nothing broken, and no shiny spots from loose things. The air suspension light hasn't come on at all. Anyone had this happen? Any trouble shooting ideas?

Have you gotten under the backend on your back and pushed up a little on the bumper cover?Makes a dull cardboard sound if it has anyplay like mine.If it's a metal sound then yes, there will be evidence of scraping/shiny place so? How are themuffler hangers doing/Is the prk.brk. asssembly squeaking maybe? Rear sway bar maybe. You'll find it eventually

Last week when I had the wheels off and was putting the steelies back on my car, I had noticed one of my exhaust hangers was broke. It was causing a very anoying sqeak for the past month or so. The only way I saw it was by having the wheels off, not sure if it is your problem or not, but my exhaust is only 2yrs old and it was still broke. Good luck!
