well, that pretty much settles it then. no tailpipes for me, just dumps.

about headers - i don't think i want to go to that much trouble without wanting to do the whole shebang, MZT, headers, J-mod, etc. i do want those things, but one step at a time, people! lol

I've had the dumped exhaust before on other cars, and it's very loud inside the car due to the cabin resonance. Russ's car sounds awesome, but he's always b!tching about how loud it is LOL....just a FYI. If you're someone who's irritated by cabin resonance, you need to have the outlets somewhere other than under the floorpan.

I have most of the stock piping under my car, minus the converters, and two dinky 14" Walker offset glasspacks for mufflers; it's a bit crackly, rappy, or whatever you want to call it, but it sounds nice and is reasonably quiet inside the car. I'm going back and forth about having a system like Russ's made, though, except with the tailpipes exiting in front of the rear wheels.

I have a HILARIOUS story about that; I'll post it up later on tonight, along with an accompanying video ;-)

We had them all over around here, too, but they're thankfully not as popular nowadays as they once were. Given the fact that they're a GM product, I assume most of them have died off.

We call them small weiner-mobiles, and those antennas would be Hick Whips ;-)
