I just had a BOC Valve Body installed last weekend and I must say, I like! The kit eliminated the 1-2 spring and added the purple and brown spring to the 2-3. The instructions were easy to follow and it took about 2 hours to do.

There wasn't much difference at normal throttle, but at WOT the tranny kicks through the gears.

I was going to have a local shop do it for $200 (yes, I'm made of money) but a buddy of mine got his brother to do it for free.

All I have to say is I love Fairfax County! This ex cruiser was meticulously maintained and it showed. The transmission pan was free of any debris (metal shavings) and everything looked brand new, including the fluid.

UD Pulleys are next!

I have Darrins valve body, loving it. My 1,2 shifts kick at any throttle level.

It'll shift quick going slow, but you really don't feel it at 25mph.

Jeeze, where do I begin....

I bought a set of Steeda's off of ebay almost a year ago...except when I got them, they had Power Bond on the packaging and I was thinking WTF!

I called Steeda and they said they manufactured them for PB (an Australian company), so I figured I'd keep them. I called Power Bond USA today to make sure they would fit and I gave them the part number and they said that they don't make any balancers with that PN so I sent them some pictures to ID to see if they are theirs and if they can ID them.

The pulleys look to be top quality and I have heard a lot of good things about Power Bond. I'm hoping they just mislabeled the box.
