If you didnt have a marauder 80mm maf, what other maf if any could bolt up to the marauder air box? (Found a mm air box and K & N filter panel for a great deal!)

Mustangs have a 80mm from 96 - 04(I think)with some differences in the connectors, but all would physically fit. (I use a 96 Mustang MAF) Lightning 80mm fits, but wouldn't use on NA engine personally. Mark VIIIs had a 80mm but I know that the earlier connections were different than the vics. All would fit the box. Don't know of others off the top of my head.

$700 was for all brand new parts. I did some searching and found everything(airbox, MAF, ZipTube, and XCal) used for less than half the price ($350... this includes the tune which was regular price). Tune should be coming in next week (Lonnie @ BOC).

If anyone knows of dyno pull events in the Houston area, please let me know. Cheapest I could find is $75 for 3 pulls.

I know you are going for the OEM look, but is there any advantage to a K&N FIPK ? Do you get the same gains ?

Is there a big visual difference in the CV & MM air box ? Some people aren't that honest with used parts .

Is there a performance noticeable difference in the 04cvpi 80maf and the MM 80maf?

No.

Use the 2004+ CVPI 80mm MAF/airbox for a plug and play install in your 2005+ model (still need a tune, however)

If your "MZT" didnt come with screws for the mm air box and mm maf, can you use the screws that hold the cvpi air box and cvpi maf on or do you need the exact screws that the mm mairbox and mm maf use? Thanks.

You mean the screws that bolt the MAF to the airbox lid?

I think they are the same, but I can compare to make sure.

If yours is apart already you may also be missing the thin gasket between the MAF and the airbox lid.

If you mean the mounting studs that are bolted to the fender liner, they are the same.

Yeah do that please an I am referring to the bolts that hold the maf to the air box. A thin gasket??? Never even knew they had one..damn I bet I dont have it, I would have remembered. When my mm maf comes, I'll see if it is included. Worst case scenario, could I use those create a gasket rolls that aap or auto zone sells to fab up the thin gasket between the maf and air box? The
