This is my dad's 1969 Galaxie 500 convertible. It has 32,000 original miles on it and has been a Wisconsin car all its life. The paint, chrome and interior is all original. The Convertible top and boot has been redone though. It has the 390 V-8 and has been converted to a 4 barrel carb. The car was purchased new in 1969 by my fathers Aunt.

This is my 64 Galaxie 500.

yeah, it looks horrible, but it's all surface rust, body is really straight and solid, it runs and drives (289, Cruise-o-matic trans) I bought it off the second owner who had it since 1969, so it's mostly all original.

It's going in for bodywork and paint next spring, in the meantime, I'm rebuilding a 71 460 big block and C-6 for it, and starting to buy the swap mounts and crossmembers, headers, dual quads, Thunderbolt traction bars, etc for it to convert it into a fun street/strip machine with a little nostalgic 60's drag look/feel to it.
I'll pull and store the orginal engine and trans in case I want to put it back to original.

No on-line pic available but my first car was a '69 Ford LTD 4-door sedan w/the Brougham package and the standard 302 engine.

Paid $300 for it back in 1982 and had it for 2 years.

I still want a '61 - '64 Fairlane 500. Love that style; it's lean and mean.
