Update: I tore down the 95 NPI motor today. Everything looked good. I could still see all of the cross hatch hone marks. However it was not nearly as clean as the PI motor. I have decided to do the NPI shortblock with the PI heads, cams and intake. Although I am not sure what is involved in swapping the heater water tube that runs through the valley. I will save the PI shortblock for another project. The car has 3.27 gears so it should be fairly powerful, I hope. I will post a new threads when I begin the build up. Looks like there is alot of clean up work to be done first. As far as the rag covering the license plate, no thats not my old underwear but if you really need some, I think Sears is having a sale.
